Semi Final Action Today at
the Babe Ruth World Series

Time for the Semi Finals of the Babe Ruth World Series Championship Game Saturday Afternoon.

The final four teams play tonight for the right to advance to Saturday’s championship game in the 14-year old Babe Ruth World Series in Murray. Twin Cities, Washington and Westchester, California advanced to the semi finals with first round playoff victories last night.

All games are played at Murray’s 5,000-seat Ken Price Park, 250 E. Vine Street, Murray.

Tickets are $6 for a day pass. Fireworks will follow tonight’s nightcap.

Thursday’s Results:
     Twin Cities, WA - 8
     Newburg, IN - 1
          *Newburg is eliminated

     Mineral Area, MO - 4
     Westchester, CA - 9
          *Mineral Area is eliminated

Friday’s Schedule:
     5:30 p.m. - Twin Cities, WA vs. Jacksonville, Fla
     8:00 p.m. - Westchester, CA vs. Branchburg, NJ

First pitch in tomorrow’s championship game is at 1:00 p.m.
