Today is the first day of the playoffs in the 14-year old Babe Ruth World Series in Murray. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, August 25 at Murray’s 5,000-seat Ken Price Park, 250 E. Vine Street, Murray.

Game 1:
     5:30 p.m. - Twin Cities, WA vs. Newburg, IN

Game 2:
     8:00 p.m. Mineral Area, MO vs. Westchester, CA

Friday’s Schedule:
     5:30 p.m. Winner Thursday game 1 vs. Jacksonville, Fla
     8:00 p.m. Winner Thursday game 2 vs. Branchburg, NJ

Friday’s winner advance to the World Series Championship Game is at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25.
